Here are the top 5 ways to reuse and recycle your ARLENE jars and bottles to give them a second life.
1.TURN GLASS JARS INTO POTS FOR YOUR PLANTS
Want to liven up your house with some new greenery? The 50 ml glass jars from our products provide the perfect small plant as a homeware accessory. Simply wash your empty glass jar and refill with compost and place your chosen plant into the middle; fill around with more compost. Always remember to water regularly and aim to place in an area of sunlight.
2. STORE HAIR BANDS, COTTON BUDS OR JEWELLERY
Need some simple bathroom storage to modernise your bathroom? The glass jars from ARLENE's products will make the perfect fit. Hairbands, cotton pads and hair grips are part of our everyday beauty regime. These storage units are super handy to make sure the small, dainty things don't get lost and are all in one place. Simply wash out the jars and place any objects you desire, including your jewellery, into them- it’s as easy as that! Perfect to place in your bedroom or make up storage too.
3. MAKE TRAVEL SIZE CONTAINERS

Reuse ARLENE’s skincare bottles by turning them into a stylish room diffuser. A list of what you will need includes:
The 100 ml glass bottle
20-25 drops of essential oil
A quarter full cup of baby oil
3 tablespoons of alcohol
Diffuser reeds
Bowl
Small funnel
What to do
Pour the baby oil into the small bowl. After, measure three tablespoons of alcohol and pour in too. The alcohol helps the scent run up the diffuser sticks faster.
Then add the 20-25 drops of your favourite essential oil scent to the bowl.
Get your bottle and place a funnel into it.
Pour your essential oil mixture into the vase so the bottle is ¾ full.
Place four to six diffuser sticks into the bottle.
Make sure the sticks are around four to six inches tall out the bottle for ideal stability.
